Description

Garlic chutney is a chutney prepared with fresh garlic, groundnuts, dry or fresh coconut, and green or red chili peppers. Cumin, tomato and tamarind can also be added for flavor. All the ingredients are blended to a coarse paste in a grinder. It originated from the Indian subcontinent. It can be used to enhance the flavor of curries and as a dip with snacks.
