  2. Sprouted moth beans are popular among the Marathi food. The dish has a combination of green beans and sprouted moth beans which is mixed with Goda masala that brings out the right flavor of the dish.

Description

Goda masala powder is made up of basic ingredients like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, bayleaf, white sesame seeds, coriander seeds, coconut flakes, cassia buds, dagad phool(lichen) and white and black peppercorns. It is usually added to Maharashtrian recipes like Bharleli Vangi, Amti and several other curries that have an authentic Maharashtrian flavour. To make a typical goda masala powder, roast all the ingredients except coconut and coriander seeds in oil. Keep aside.Roast coconut and coriander seeds separately without oil. Now grind all the ingredients together. Let it cool and store in an airtight container.
