Description
Jalapeno pepper is green in color when picked and is usually used while green. Jalapeno pepper pods have a little curved, conical shape and come to a blunt end at their tip. They are a medium-sized chilli pepper. They have a crisp and juicy flesh. They turn red as they ripen, both on the plant and after they have been picked. Jalapeno papper can be eaten when red too. They are no longer hot when red, but the flavor is somewhat fruitier and less grassy. They can also be eaten whole.
