Description

Kerala papad is an integral part of the Kerala meal. It is made with the best quality black gram flour, aka uzhunnu, asafoetida powder, baking soda, salt, in the very authentic traditional method. It is a thin, crisp round flatbread, primarily made in the down south. The Keralites generally crush it and mix together with rice, dhal, and ghee. It is served as an accompaniment to a meal, in the Indian subcontinent, and its other neighbouring countries like, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh. They are often roasted on the fire, or fried in the oil.

It is better to buy them from the place where it originates from as that assures the authenticity of the Kerala papad.
