Health benefits

  •  Little millet is rich in dietary fiber, thus when consumed it takes longer for glucose to enter the bloodstream and hence blood sugar levels stay stable. It also has a low glycemic index. All this is helpful for diabetics who have to control rapid rise and decline of glucose in the blood.(1)
  • Being rich in Vitamin B3 (niacin) and fibre, little millet helps reduce cholesterol levels in the body. It also has a good content of magnesium which is beneficial for the heart.(1)
