  1. Maggie
  2. Maggie Instant Noodles

Description

Maggi noodles are dried noodles fused with oil and sold with a packet of flavorings. The Maggi brand originates from Switzerland. It was created by Julius Maggi in 1886. Maggi traveled across India on the back of this formidable legacy and soon it was everywhere. Within its first 25 years, it was able to command 90% of the quick noodles market. Today maggie noodles are a part of about 70% urban Indian households. A typical way of eating these noodles is by cooking them in boiling water and the enclosed masala pack but there are many more variations to it like cheese maggie, vegetable maggi, Chinese style maggi, masala maggi etc. In India, Maggi Masala noodles carry a green dot, meaning they are specifically formulated to serve vegetarians. However, Maggi chicken noodles carry a red dot, indicating that they are not vegetarian. This special formulation is not available in other countries unless imported from India.
