Description

The mango fruit is roughly oval in shape, with uneven sides. The fruit is a drupe, with an outer flesh surrounding a stone. Being juicy and aromatic it cam be eaten in various ways. One such refreshing mango recipe is to eat it in the form of an ice cream. To make an easy, creamy and scoopable mango ice cream at home, take milk in a bowl and add custard powder to it. follow by mixing it thoroughly. Take some milk in another bowl on a medium flame and add sugar to it. Once it reaches the simmer stage, add the milk custard mix to it. Stir it well and let it cool down at room temperature. Now add the vanilla essence to the bowl and mix well. Thoroughly blend cream in another bowl. Add castor sugar to the cream and blend again. Put mango puree in the bowl of cream and blend. Add the cream and mango puree mixture to the bowl of milk. Add chopped mangoes to the bowl and stir well. Transfer the mix into a steel container. Tightly cover the container with a thin transparent sheet. Refrigerate it overnight and serve it ice cream next morning. You can also top it with chopped dry fruits or chocolate sauce.
