Description

Natural Colourings (E 162) is a red glycosidic food dye, usually obtained from the extract of beet juice. It is used as a food coloring agent to add dark red color in food and beverages. It is often used more in frozen products, products sold in dry state and products with short shelf life as it degrades when subjected to heat, light and oxygen.
