Description
Orange Pekoe Extract is an extract derived from a grade of black tea brewed from the dried leaves and buds of the Camellia sinensis plant. This variety is the largest leaf grade for black teas from Sri Lanka and southern India. The extract is used for tea brewing with a golden orange tinge. Just like other varieties of Camellia sinensis teas, including green, oolong and white, orange pekoe tea is also widely consumed throughout the world, for its antioxidant properties.
