Description
Pathimukham Wood is a species of flowering tree in the legume family, Fabaceae native to Southeast Asia and the Malay archipelago. The tree grows upto 8-10 m in height and the trunk up to 15-30 cm in diameter, after a period of 8 years. It has greyish brown bark, young twigs and dark green leaves. Pathimukham Wood Powder is a powder obtained from the bark of the tree. The powder is slightly pinkish in color and can be best consumed mixed with boiling water for ayurvedic and medicinal purposes.
