Look for rice crispies in well-sealed packaging as they may lose their crispiness if left open. Check for their manufacturing and expiry date on the packaging before purchasing the rice crispies.

Description
Rice Crispies are usually a square or rectangle-shaped confectionary made from crisped rice. Crisped rice is a rice and sugar paste that is formed into rice shapes, cooked, dried and toasted. It is then expanded forming very thin and hollowed out walls that are crunchy and crisp. When milk is added and cereal is subjected to a change in heat, its walls tend to collapse, creating the "crackle and pop" sounds. It is even available in powder form.
