Usage Tips

  2. The oil should be stirred before using, as chilli flakes may settle down.
  3. It can be used as a cooking base for meats and vegetables .

  5. It can be drizzled over salads and Asian dishes.

Description

Roasted Chilli Oil is a schezuan style oil prepared by simmering roasted chilli flakes in any oil(vegetable, sunflower, soybean or any flavourless oil) for 5 minutes. Along with chilli flakes, some garlic cloves, shallot, szechuan peppercorns, salt and some other spices are also added for flavour. The oil is sieved, discarding the garlic and spices(chilli flakes can be retained). It can be used as a condiment in stir-fries, noodles and sauces.
