Description

Bengal gram is small, hard brown coated, annual legume of the family Fabaceae, subfamily Faboideae. Sand Puffed Bengal Gram is the chickpeas roasted in hot sand. They are eaten as a snack and can be mixed with puffed rice to make namkeens.
