Ingredients For Apple halwa recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat 1.5 tbsp ghee in a pan, add cashews and fry till golden brown, set aside.Puree 2 apples and get it ready.Add this puree to the same pan containing ghee. Mix well and saute for 3-5 mins in low flame.
  • 2. The puree will absorb all the ghee and will the moisture content will go. At this stage add sugar.Mix well until sugar dissolves. Cook for a minute, the mixture will turn gooey.Add 1 tbsp ghee and keep stirring. Cook until it is less sticky.
  • 3. When it starts to stick add remaining 1.5 tbsp ghee, mix well. Ghee will start to ooze out at edges and the whole mixture comes together as a mass without sticking.At this stage add cardamom powder, cashews. Give a quick and switch off. Enjoy Apple Halwa!
