Ingredients For BROKEN WHEAT UPMA RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Dry and roast Broken wheat till 5 minutes till it starts aromatic and brown in color.
  • 2. In pressure cooker add oil ,mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and let it splutter add peanuts and cashew and saute for a minute.
  • 3. Next add chopped onion and chopped green chilli and saute till onion gets soft.
  • 4. Now add vegetables and saute for a minute, and add roasted broken wheat, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well and then add water and pressure cook for 2 whistle.
  • 5. Serve hot drizzle some lemon juice and garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.
