Ingredients For Idli Chutney Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixer, crush grated fresh coconut with green chillies and ginger
  • 2. Add channa daal and urad daal 1 tbsp respectively to it
  • 3. Add salt to taste ,crush it well
  • 4. Then do tempering on this chutney with oil , mustard seeds ,curry leaves, channa daal and urad daal
  • 5. Chutney is ready
  • 6. For idli, soak rice and urad daal seperately for with methi dana for 8 hrs , then grind it to coarse paste
  • 7. Make a semi thick batter. Then add salt to taste to it
  • 8. Batter is ready, add 2 tbsp oil to it
  • 9. Mix all well
  • 10. Then grease the idli steamer, preheat the steamer, fill the idli batter in idlis, steam it for 15-20 minutes
  • 11. Unmould it
  • 12. Idli is ready to serve
