Jalebi, Arabic sweet snack popular all over South Asia and Middle East. It is made by deep-frying maida flour batter in circular shapes, which are then soaked in sugar syrup. And goes well with hot milk or rabri.

Make a batter using maida, besan, and water, haldi. Ferment for 7-8 hours . Adjust the consistency of batter by more maida. Make a sugar syrup using sugar, water, saffron and cardamom. Take ghee in a flat pan, using a squeeze bottle or cloth, make jalebis. Put then in sugar syrup. Garnish with nuts.
