Ingredients For Moong daal Halwa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak moong dal forover night or 4 to 5 hours Grind the moong dal in mixure.
  • 2. Soak the saffron strands in warm milk nd chop almond nd cashew
  • 3. Take ghee in a nonstick pan. Add semolina nd fry for 2 seconds
  • 4. Now add the moong dal paste to the pan.
  • 5. Mix it properly and cook on low to medium flame
  • 6. Stir continuously till the mixture releases aroma , ghee and bubbles are formed. This will take around 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 7. Now add sugar to it an mix it properly.
  • 8. Now add the saffron soaked in warm milk to it.
  • 9. Mix well and add the warm milk+water mixture.
  • 10. Mix everything together and add the chopped almonds and cashews to it
  • 11. Mix properly Cook till the halwa leaves the sides of the pan
  • 12. Serve hot halwa garnished with chopped almonds and cashews.
