Ingredients For Moong Dal Payasa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Firstly, in a pressure cooker roast 1/4 cup moong dal on low flame until they turn aromatic. Add 2ÂĽ cup water and 1 tsp ghee. Pressure cook until dal turns soft.
  • 2. Take a kadai add in jaggery powder and pressure cook moong dal and mix well. Get the mixture to a boil for 2 minutes, or until the mixture is well combined.
  • 3. Add 1 cup thin coconut milk and stir well, simmer for 2 minutes.
  • 4. Pour the fried nuts over payasa along with cardamom powder. Turn off the flame and garnish with dry fruits.
