Peel and wash the potatoes.Cut the potatoes into thin slices.

Soak basmati rice and chana dal for three to four hours and grind to make a paste make a smooth batter with the help of water.Now add red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt into the batter and mix it well.

Heat the oil in a pan.Dip the potatoe slices into the batter.Coat them well.Deep fry the pakora golden and crispy.Drain in paper napkin.Serve hot with tea.
