It is a healthy and perfect tea-time snack which is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Kids will also happily eat it.Well I was left with some palak puree from Spinach-Corn sabzi made for yesterday's dinner which I wanted to utilize into some innovative dish. Ingredients For Spinach Cornmeal Tikki Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First quickly blanch the spinach and grind it with garlic, ginger and green chilli without using any water to a smooth paste.
  • 2. Now combine this palak puree with maize flour(makke ka atta), chopped onion, boiled and grated potatoes, salt, hing, red chilli powder and chat masala powder. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
  • 3. Make round tikkis (make thinner than normal tikki so that flour is cooked properly and it becomes crisp).
  • 4. Heat oil in a pan, cook tikkis on medium flame till golden brown and crisp from both the sides. Enjoy hot with ketchup and a cup of hot tea....
