PERI PERI POHA RECIPE

Poha is a quick, easy and healthy popular Maharashtrian breakfast recipe. One of my favourite breakfast. we make it at least once a week. It has different variations in different states of our country. Like, it is kanda poha in Maharashtra, aloo batata poha popular in Gujarat. I have prepared poha with peri peri masala. A nice twist to the humble poha. Do make this as a variant and let me know how your family likes this.

Ingredients For PERI PERI POHA RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. To make peri peri masala take a small bottle. Add red chilli powder, tumeric powder, black salt, oregano, ginger and garlic powder. Close the lid of bottle and shake it well and keep it aside.
  • 2. Wash poha under running water and drain in a colander. Once the poha is rinsed add salt,sugar,lemon juice and mix thoroughly and keep aside.
  • 3. Heat the pan add oil. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilli. Add potato and onions and cook for 2 minutes on a low flame.
  • 4. Add raisins and cashews mix well.
  • 5. Add 1 Tablespoon peri peri masala and poha .Mix well. Cover it for 2 minutes on low flame.Swich off the flame. Add coriander leaves.
  • 6. Garnish it with sev.
  • 7. Peri peri poha is ready to serve hot with garma garam tea.
