color, presentation, smell all good but taste is lacking something to make it as great as other merchant selling it j didnt liked the taste whereas the MANGO one is good.
i am having this product since years and the taste is constant the color is good and the smell is also aromatic . It tastes like the prefect rajbhog flavour.
Since this product originates from Kolkata I thought I would get the real thing. But this is not just dalmoth but mixed with an assortment of spices & nuts drowning the real dalmoth taste. The Haldiram version from Nagpur tastes better than this and close to the real thing.
I didnt liked it because the smell, taste is different its not the actual badam lachha i wanted.
I would prefer balaji over it this was just the waste of money for me and nothing else.
Very rich test like from your nearby store purchased bhujia. As i am having it from long time no problem with taste, quality, packaging, etc. Overall very good quality product from haldiram's
Poor quality. Packet had many pieces of threads. Looked like from a cloth perhaps used for drying. Also the name is misleading as it is not the original haldiram prabhuji is not original.
The taste is worst, it has different taste no ghee in it. Also these Soan Papdi's were hard like a rock, might be air went inside the box which made it hard rock. Better buy Haldirams Special Soan Papdi
I didnt liked it i persoanlly feel the syrup is too sweet and leaves a very foul smell i wont refer it to you guys
And the pieces are not that soft which a actual gulab jamun should be i would suggest you guys to better make it at home.
As far as i would say is that the kajus were not so good but the dalmoth was better than the kajus
The smell of old oil was there i would say it was so unhygenic.
2 stars only for dalmotha nd nothing else.
Other than mango this would be second choice for haldiram soan rolls as it tastes delicious and the kesar tint to it brings that immense flavour to the rolls.
Loved it.
