I've often used Dabur Hommade's Ginger-Garlic paste. A complete life saver when you need to whip up gravy dishes quickly and unplanned. Or when the quantity is too less and the mixer refuses to talk to the ginger and garlic!!! Taste is great, of course with stabilisers, it will be different from the real thing. Also, they can improve the packaging to make the pack reusable and storable. For eg, have a zip lock seal or have a cap like some Ketchup pouches do.
