Being a punjabi, I’m very particular about my chole recipe. So I always roast and grind fresh masalas to make it. But when I’m in hurry, MDH Chana masala serves the best alternative. It Will not give the taste of those fresh masalas but is definitely better than other brands. Tip- Refrigerate in an air tight container to maintain its freshness.
I’ve been using this sauce for a long time now. I like the tangy, sweet along with spicy flavour of this sauce. I agree sometimes the taste is not consistent, I guess due to hotness of the chillies. But overall I just love this one.
When I first saw this butter in the market last year, I was unsure about the taste but then also I bought it. Ever since this has been my essential in the refrigerator. If you don’t want to take the pain of peeling Few garlic cloves for some dish, just add this butter to it and it will taste awesome. Specially garlic bread, just spread the butter and voila! I just love this one.
In summers, I usually prefer buttermilk. Usually the homemade one, but while travelling this is the only brand I buy. This one is so refreshing, the texture and the taste is so good. Neither more salty/spicy nor less. Just the apt flavours.
I’m a big fan of coffee shakes and very particular about the taste. Just started using this coffee few months back , and since then I don’t like any other coffee. The flavour and the aroma is so perfect. I would surely recommend this one.
Overall- I’m not much fond of ready to eat curry or paste, as I prefer fresh ones over it. But if you are in a hurry or wanna change in your daily food you should try this one. Taste- I tried this one and made paneer capsicum sabji and it turned out so well. It’s tangy and bit spicy in taste. So don’t add too much of it if you don’t like spicy food. Usage- You just have to mix your vegetables or paneer with it and your dish is ready. Or you can even mix half a spoon of this paste in your daily veggies/curries to give it a spicy and tangy flavour. Store the rest in the refrigerator. Packaging- You have to transfer the left over paste to a container for storage . It would have been better if there’s a zip lock or a cap to close the packet.
I’m fond of spicy food, so have an habit of adding chilli sauce to almost every dish I make. When I tried Naagin bhoot sauce, I found the flavour to be very different than the other chilli sauces. Along with the spiciness, it has a strong flavour of garlic too, which though my family didn’t like. But personally I liked it as we all need some change. If you are bored from the regular taste in your dishes you should try this one.
