Methods
  • 1. Soak the rice in water for 3 to 4 hours. Drain the water and let it dry for at least 1 hour.
  • 2. Blend it into smooth rice powder and cover it with a damp cloth for at least an hour.
  • 3. For making the filling, heat a pan and mix dried coconut with sugar and cardamom. Keep it aside.
  • 4. Now to make the pithas, heat an iron tawa. Spread the rice flour with a ladle and make it thick round like a pancake.
  • 5. Put the coconut stuffing and fill the centre. Then roll the pithas gently. Keep it for a minute to firm up and then transfer to a plate.
  • 6. Make the rest of the pithas like this. Enjoy!!
