Ingredients For Lahsooni dal tadka recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pressure cooker. Splutter mustard & add onion.Fry till golden.
  • 2. Add ginger and chopped few garlic and fry till raw smell goes. Add tomato, green chillies, turmeric, hing, salt. Fry till mushy.
  • 3. Add washed and soaked dal. Add water and pressure cook for 4 to 6 whistles.
  • 4. Heat remaining ghee in a pan. Sizzle cumin.Add chopped garlics and fry till golden. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, stir for 30 sec.
  • 5. Pour this over dal. Add lemon and coriander leaves. Serve with rice or roti.
