Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, onion and salt. Mix well. Heat oil in a wok, keep water in a separate bowl. Wet your right hand palm. Make all the vada with your wet hand.

Take a ball size portion from wet hand roll it to a ball. Make a hole in centre with your thumb. Leave it in medium heated oil.

Fry on low to medium flame from both the sides till golden brown. Take out on oil absorbing paper. And here you go. Serve with hot sambhar and coconut chutney, tomato chutney.
