Ingredients For Oeuf Portugese Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Chop onion and garlic. Make concasse of tomatoes.
  • 2. Heat half the oil in a pan. Add the garlic and cook for half a minute. Add the onion and cook till transparent.
  • 3. Add the tomato puree and cook for half a minute . Add the tomato concasse , seasoning and little sugar. Cover and cook till dry. Add water and bring to a thick sauce(fondu) consistency.
  • 4. Put the sauce onto individual serving plates to make bed.
  • 5. Break one egg each on the sauce and cook in the oven till the egg whites are cooked.(sur la plat).
  • 6. Remove and serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.
