Ingredients For Bengali style Tangra Fish Curry Recipe

Methods
  • 1. At first marinate the fish with salt, turmeric powder & red chilli powder.
  • 2. Heat oil & fry the fishes then. After that take out fishes from pan & keep aside.
  • 3. Add kala jeera, dry red chilli, green chilli & bay leaves. Fry it for few minutes.
  • 4. When you can feel the aroma of the spices then add chopped tomato .Cook it till soft.
  • 5. Add all spices , salt & chopped potatoes then. Mix it well & cook it few more minutes.
  • 6. After that add 2 cups of hot water & let it boil.
  • 7. When bubble will appear in the gravy, then add fried fishes.
  • 8. Cover it & let it cook.
  • 9. After 5 to 7 minutes open the lid & check the gravy & salt.
  • 10. Add chopped coriander leaves & switch off the flame.
  • 11. Serve it hot with plain rice.
