To make semolina appe, mix suji (semolina) and curd in a bowl.Then add some water to it and make semolina batter.

Do not keep the solution too thick or too thin.After making semolina batter, keep it covered for 30 minutes so that the semolina swells.

After 30 minutes, the semolina must have swelled If this solution looks too thick, then add some more water and mix it. Now add chopped onion, tomato, green chillies, salt, cumin seeds, coriander leaves and mix it and finally add baking soda.

Suji batter is ready to make appe.Put a little oil in appe mold and keep it hot on the gas.When oil is hot, add mustard seeds to every mold.

When the mustard seeds crackle, add a spoon of semolina batter to it.Keep the flame low throughout the process.Let them cook for 1 to 2 minutes.Remove the lid after 2 minutes and check all the appe.

If the bottom layer of appe turns light brown, then flip all the appe with the help of a spoon and cover it and let it cook again for 2 minutes.After 2 minutes, appe are starting to look light brown from the other side too.

Appe is ready.Slow down the flame and take out all the appe in a plate.
