Ingredients For Stir Fry Bajra Khichdi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak the bajra millet for 2 to 3 hours with enough water.
  • 2. Dry roast the moong dal & mix with bajra.Put it in pressure cooker & after 3 whistle switch off the gas.
  • 3. Dry roast the cumin,coriander & fennel seeds & make a powder of it.
  • 4. In a pan heat 1tspn oil, add cumin, mustard seeds & let it crackle.
  • 5. Add chopped onion, tomato & all vegetables.
  • 6. Add salt, all spices & chopped green chilli. Toss it & stir fry it for few minutes
  • 7. Add boiled bajra & dal then.Don't mix water.Mix coconut milk & cook it for few more minutes.
  • 8. Dry roast the cashew nuts & add it to the khichdi.
  • 9. Pack it in lunch box with salad.
