Always take fresh desiccated coconut.

Ingredients For Tricolour Barfi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dry roast the coconut for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
  • 2. Add condensed milk, milk and cardamom powder. Mix it well. Stir continuesly. Cook on low heat.
  • 3. Divide the mixture into 3 equal parts.
  • 4. Mix orange and green colour in two portion Cook it until mixture turns thick.
  • 5. Grease the plates with ghee. Transfer the mixture into three plates. Sprinkle coconut and place almonds pieces over it. Press it with spatula. Refrigerate it.
  • 6. Cut it into desired pieces before it becomes completely cool.
