Ingredients For Brazilian Cheese Bread (PAO DE QUEIJO) Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Preheat oven to 204 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
  • 2. Lined baking tray with parchment paper and keep aside.
  • 3. Add milk, water, oil and salt in a pan and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  • 4. Add the tapioca flour/Sabudana flour to another bowl once the milk mixture boils, pour it over the flour. 
  • 5. Mix it well. The texture will be really white and sticky.
  • 6. Add the egg and mix it well.
  • 7. Once the egg is mixed properly with flour add the cheese, little at a time.
  • 8. Mix the flour mixture with cheese until cheese is mixed well with the flour and forms a dough.
  • 9. The dough is soft and sticky. 
  • 10. To shape the balls, wet your hands with cold water and, using a spoon, scoop some of the dough to shape balls that are a little smaller than golf-sized.
  • 11. Place the balls on a baking sheet.
  • 12. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden and puffed.
  • 13. Serve them warm with a cup of coffee.
