Layered Tea Bread Recipe

Hello everyone we all are use to make breads and buns but here I have inspired by one of Turkish dish which called "bint al shan" so I thought let's try it.it become so soft from inside and crunchy from upper layer.it takes lots of patience to make but ingredients are same as we use in regular bread.so let's make it."layered tea bread"

U have to make layers properly to get best results.u can make in cake tin also if u r comfortable with it.may be it will look difficult for 1 st time but practice makes man perfect so try it

Ingredients For Layered Tea Bread Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take plate on which ur making bread it should some how deep so we can stuck dough in it
  • 2. Apply some butter on plate keep in refrigerator.
  • 3. Now take 1 deep plate or bowl add yeast sugar and salt add 1/2 cup water keep side for 5 minutes.
  • 4. Now add flour and 1 1/2 egg in it and mix well.
  • 5. Take small small portion of water and knead soft dough.
  • 6. If you think that dough getting too sticky so add some flour.
  • 7. Now knead dough and cover it for 10 minutes.
  • 8. After 10 minutes spread some flour on working board, keep dough and knead it for 5 minutes.
  • 9. Now divide it in small small equal portion, approx 15 to 18 balls you have to make.
  • 10. Now get out plate from refrigerator. Now take dough ball spread it by hand and put into plate and carefully stuck in to plate from all over.
  • 11. 1 by 1 spread all ball by hand and stuck into plate layer on layer.
  • 12. Between every layer you have to apply melted ghee or butter nicely.
  • 13. When all balls get spread now take 1 small bowl add 1/2 egg add Black seeds and 1/2 spoon of butter and apply on bread nicely.
  • 14. Keep that plate some warm place for atleast half n hour.
  • 15. Now preheat oven for 5 minutes, as I am using otg so I make it 200 degree for 5 minutes.
  • 16. Now keep bread plate on in oven and bake it on 180 degree for 30 minutes.
  • 17. You will see it's getting fluffy and changing colour.
  • 18. Now serve hot with tea. You can spread some honey on it to just change the taste.

I found this recipe to be really useful especially in a scenario like this where we can't go out often. The kneading was a bit skillful part but apart from that the recipe is more or less easy to prepare.
