Peri Peri prawn fritters in spicy spinach rice Recipe

This is a yummilicious maincourse dish. The beautiful colour of the dish really attract any non-vegetarian lovers towards it. I have used Peri Peri sauce while making the spinach rice also for which this dish is really so yummy. Spinach are abundantly available in winter. The combination of spinach with prawn is really so delicious.

Ingredients For Peri Peri prawn fritters in spicy spinach rice Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First of all wash and prepare the rice with sufficient water.
  • 2. When 80% of the rice is cooked then drain all the water from it.
  • 3. Add ghee and lemon juice and keep it aside without covering it.
  • 4. In the meantime wash the prawns and mix all the ingredients except oil for making Peri Peri prawn fritters into it.
  • 5. Rest it for 5-10 minutes and then heat a kadhai and deep fry the prawns till they become golden brown.
  • 6. Heat another pan and put oil in it and then add all the whole spices in it and saute it for 20-30seconds.
  • 7. Then add chopped garlic in it and when they become golden in colour then add the chopped onion and chilli in it and saute it till they become transluscent.
  • 8. Then add the chopped spinach and green peas in it. Mix it well and add all the spices and salt and mix it properly.
  • 9. After 3-4 minutes when they are half cooked then add the rice in it.
  • 10. After that switch off the flame and your Peri Peri prawn fritters in spicy spinach rice is ready.
  • 11. Serve hot with any raita.
