Adding vinegar is totally optional. Take care while putting your egg in the water don't break it.

Ingredients For Poached Eggs Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Make sure eggs are really fresh.
  • 2. Crack the egg into a bowl or onto a saucer. Add vinegar into the water.
  • 3. Bring the pan of water filled at least 5cm deep to a simmer.
  • 4. Stir the water to create a gentle whirlpool. Slowly tip the egg into the center.
  • 5. Cook for3-4 minutes. Lift the egg out with a slotted spoon and drain it on kitchen paper.
  • 6. Plate the egg and sprinkle salt and black pepper powder.
