This is easy to make halwa. I used milk instead of water to make. It's good when a sweet craving hits or you need something quickly to curb sweet craving or hunger
Taste is good and easy to prepare, sufficient for one serving. No need to add any additional spices or salt. Just boil water, pour the contents of the pack, mix well and put the lid on for 5 mins and it is ready to eat
Anybody who wishes to try it can go ahead because Dal Makhni is one of the best MTR offering. It is tasty as hell but for health considerations I wouldn't recommend regular consumption. It maybe had with chapati, rice or even bread. Easy to make too (instructions are given on the back).
Kadi Pakora is has a good texture & is ready to eat in 2 minutes. Kadi Pakora is a wonderful spiced food already cooked and ready as soon as you heat it. Has a long shelf life too. It is a meal all by itself.
Unique product purchased with low expectations. So easy to make and super convenient! I was shocked with the amount of flavor and the spiciness (in a very positive way)! Now please understand, this product will never replace the real deal from your favorite restaurant or homemade, BUT in a pinch it will totally satisfy a craving and leave you very satisfied. I also combine it with my leftovers from my favorite restaurant to get a few more servings out of it
These premixes are a perfect solution for a single person like me. Spares me the prep time and can make on the spot decisions on what to eat as just have to add water to the mix and voila- you have a sort of home cooked meal ready in minutes!
Love the fact that literally nothing has to be added other than salt and oil as per your preference.
Quite good and while the. taste is different from the real stuff, people can gradually make a change to it and won't notice it after some time. I made change to brown rice more than a decade ago and now prefer brown rice for example.
My only issue with MTR products is that addition of curd is needed. I am not adding it and as a result the idli does not become fluffy. I wish some Gits like alternative are provided.
I appreciate though that MTR is thinking of health-conscious people
MTR pohas are actually poha chivdas that they expect you to moist with boiling water. But , this one tastes better than the Khatta Meetha flavour. It tastes like poha without onion and tomatoes and all other goodness.
Rajma Chawal is one the most famous North Indian delicacies, made with red kidney beans cooked in a thick tomato based gravy, and served with hot steaming rice. The product doesn't contain MSG, transfat, or preservatives and it's free of artificial colour
MTR Palak Paneer is my favourite from all MTR RTE. Lots of fiber and 12% Paneer. This is closer to what we cook at home than what you would find in a restaurant . The ingredients like spinach, garlic and coriander are in right proportion. Little high on Calorie though 139 per 100 grams for a total pack of 300 grams. One pack can serve two. It is quite filling. If you warm the stuff in a microwave the paneer cubes burst so be prepared. I normally eat it with rice. 5 grams of protein per 100 grams. Now is that cool. This meal one can have as small helpings with rice if one is on diet.
