Vathal kozombu
The packaging is good enough and interesting. Directions to use are clear , but the ingredients given shows curd in it...and in the product there is no trace of curd. It's very sour, needs good amount of jaggery to be added. But it's not mentioned in the direction. I was very curious to try the product when I received the sample . It was totally new for me although iam a South Indian. The colour of the product is not that good. So I made some corrections ,by adding some fried onions , jaggery , coriander and coconut. Then it tasted little better. Lot of improvements is needed. Otherwise its worth buying once. No preservatives is a false claim. Not worth of paying such a big price. Not recommended from my side.

Tasty Tales Vathal Kozambu
I tried this Vathal Kozambu for the first time but it was really tasty. I made this using the readymade curry paste from Tasty Tales. As I opened the packet I could smell the flavour of tamarind. It tasted sour and tangy but was really nice. I served it with rice which was a nice combination with it and tasted amazing. And I would really appreciate the packaging of the product as it was really nice and handy. Overall I just loved this readymade curry paste and would also suggest you to buy this product.

Tasty tales Mylapore vathal kozhambu
In this product I found a tangy chatpata taste . It has a South India taste with a perfect blend of spices , since I being a diabetic in ths product a bit Jaggery is added but it's too less but I really enjoying relishing it. Since I don't have the products which hv sugar or Jaggery contain . I used ths paste in my few of my dishes I made raddish sambar & tamarind rice ( puliyogre) . If u mix ths paste in plain white rice it tastes more often . This paste reminds me whenever I go to have Andhra meals they give a special chutney, it tastes same like tat. In ths paste it is a combination of tamarind, jaggery an dry spices which makes it perfect it's neither too spicy nor too sweet. It's a perfect. The price fr ths is reasonable an ths paste u can store it in an air tight container to retain its taste . This paste can be stored fr a week or two . I'm thankful to gotochef fr providing me ths paste , since I was really in a hunt fr ths paste I was nt getting. But thanks to u people fr sending me ths paste an I see tat I share this product to my friends who r craving fr ths .

Tasty
Vathal Kozhambu is traditional Tamil dish and I have eaten it many times before with rice. I loved the taste of Tasty Tales Mylapore Vathal Kozhambu. The moment you open the packet you can smell the tamarind in it which is the most important ingredient of this dish. The method to make it is quite simple and printed behind the packet, all the ingredients are already added to this paste and therefore you need not add anything to it. As soon I tasted it, tamarind and asafoetida hit my tongue which is the perfect taste. It is perfectly spicy. They have already added Manathakalli seeds (Nightshade) in the paste which is really good. It is hassle free and tasty. The only ingredient I found to be new is buttermilk which I feel can be avoided. The packaging is good and it is easy to open and remove the contents.

Tasty tales Vathal Kozhambu
I am a North Indian and I spend around 5 years in Chennai. So during my stay in south India I really enjoy South Indian food and I learned so many South Indian dishes. But still that authentic taste is missing as I am not able to get all the ingredients.
Few days back I got a Tasty tales Vathal Kozhambu curry paste. I tried this it taste so good and the best part is so easy to make as all the ingredients are already added we just need to add a cup of water and cook this for 10 minutes and a meal is ready with a same authentic taste of South India. Its packaging is so cute.
I love to have this with rice only thing as it is a curry without any vegetable so I personally prefer to serve this with rice and any dry vegetable to complete our meal.
One more thing I want to add if you love sambhar rice or rasam rice this is a must try.

Tasty Tales Vathal kozhambu
I have prepared Vathal kozhambu by using ready made curry paste by Tasty Tales. Vathal kozhambu is a dish from Tamil cuisine which is served along with steamed rice. Tasty tales makes your work easy as it has pre cooked curry paste. You have to just add water and boil it for few minutes and authentic tamil style vathal kozhambu will be ready in no time. It is balanced mix of tangy, sour and spicy taste. So, if you are missing grandma's taste, do give it a try. If you are looking for authentic vathal kozhambu, then this is the right option for you. The packaging is very very interesting. The recipe preparation steps are also given on the packet so just follow it and your curry will be ready in no time. It has a good shelf life of six months. It would be better if the price could be reduced a bit. Overall, it is a good product with good taste.
