Ingredients For Aalu vindalu Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Cut the onion. Peel the garlic. Now put all the ingredients of the spices in a mixer jar and grind them.
  • 2. Peel and cut the potato, and boil it in hot water for a couple of minutes. Sieve it so that all the water from the potatoes is removed. Keep it in a plate.
  • 3. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves to it. When mustard seeds start spluttering, mix the ground spices in it and stir it well. Fry it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame while stirring continuously.
  • 4. Now add boiled potatoes and salt as per taste.
  • 5. Mix everything well. Cook it for 6-7 minutes on low flame. Add water to it if required.
  • 6. Now mix sugar in it, and turn off the gas.Serve it hot with poori, rice or roti.
