This cake is perfect for chocolate lovers of my family and it just melts in your mouth. A must try for this Valentine as it's colourful, made in heart shape and also tied with a red ribbon around it to symbolize my l9ve of my Valentines ?

Ingredients For Chocolicious cake recipe

Methods
  • 1. Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  • 2. Sift all the dry ingredients (Maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, coffee powder) 3-4 times. Keep them aside
  • 3. In a bowl, take all the wet ingredients (butter, condensed milk, vanilla essence, water) heat on high for 1 minute in a microwave or heat it by double boiler method.
  • 4. Mix the dry ingredients to wet ingredients gradually in three parts.
  • 5. Don't over mix. The mixture should have a smooth texture. Pour the mixture in greased and dusted heart-shaped cake tin.
  • 6. Bake the cake in the oven for 50 minutes or till the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • 7. For the chocolate ganache- Heat the fresh cream till bubbles are formed. Now add this heated cream to the bowl containing butter and chopped chocolate pieces.
  • 8. Cover it and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Now mix both of them properly and let the ganache come to room temperature then keep inside the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
  • 9. Cut the cake sponge into four parts. Place the first part on the cake board and soak with sugar syrup and apply a layer of ganache on it. Similarly, apply for the other two layers and finally the last layer also.
  • 10. Then cover the whole cake with ganache properly.
  • 11. Decorate the cake with gems on top and KitKat on the sides to cover the cake properly. Tie the cake with a red satin ribbon.
  • 12. Your chocolicious cake is ready so serve your loving Valentines đź’ť
