Ingredients For Eid special Turkish chicken pies recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, salt, oil and instant yeast. Mix well, and using warm milk knead a smooth dough. Cover and rest aside for 15 minutes.
  • 2. Heat a skillet with 2 tbsp oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, ginger ,stir and sautĂ© until onions are translucent .
  • 3. Add chopped green chilly and sautĂ© for few seconds, add all chopped carrots, chopped french beans, chopped bell pepper. And boiled corn. Cook till cooked.
  • 4. Add chicken breast small cubes, salt and spices mentioned above, let it cover and cook until chicken is done.
  • 5. Let it cool and keep aside. Uncover pie dough and knead for couple of minutes. Take out some portion from dough and dust flour on the rolling surface, roll out the dough into a very thin round circle.
  • 6. Brush butter on the top surface, flip it over and ad chicken filling in the center of the sheet.
  • 7. Ad a layer of shredded cheeseClose in the sides of, a round sheet in your hand ,twist the bottom and tuck in the half underneath.
  • 8. Repeat and make all pies like this.Pre heat the oven to 180 degree for 5 minute.
  • 9. Place parchment paper on baking tray, grease with oil.Transfer the pies onto a baking tray, brush them with egg wash.
  • 10. Bake in the oven for 180 degree for 25 minutes.Remove from oven and let it cool down. Your party started is ready to be dig in.
