Using a knife. make a cross on the baby onions. Heat water in a pan, add black pepper, sugar,salt and cloves and bring to boil, once boiled add chopped beetroot and turn off the flame. Once cooled strain it.

All onion add into the jar and also add green chilly and ginger, vinegar and beetroot water and keep in the fridge for 24 hours.
