This traditional Indian rice phirni made with rice, whole milk, condensed milk,suger, cardamom powder and nuts. The twist is the color presented by butterflies pea flowers to the rice phirni.

Take 2 tbsp each of butterflies pea flowers in a separate bowls and pour about 3 tbsp hot water in each bowl.

Cover and keep the flowers aside for release it's colour for at least 20 minutes.

Aftet 20 minutes strain and keep aside blue tea water for add to the kheer while it's cooking.

Wash and soak the rice for 1/2 an hour. After 30 minutes drain and grind rice in a grinder for make paste.

Boil the milk, add the rice paste and the first batch of blue tea water. Cook for almost 15 minutes on medium flame meanwhile add the vanilla extract too.

Keep stirring frequently. Once the rice gets cooked add the condensed milk and cardamom powder and second batch of blue tea water and cook till the phirni thickens.
7.
Pour in the serving bowl, garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios. Keep it in a fridge and serve chilled blue phirni.
