Fruit cake, is a traditional Christmas cake recipe which is made with dried fruits soaked in alcohol. I have made it's Non-alcoholic version and used Orange juice instead of Rum.

Ingredients For Christmas Fruit Cake Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak nuts, tuti fruiti and cherries in orange juice for 4 hours.
  • 2. In a big bowl, take flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  • 3. Add salt and mix well with spoon.
  • 4. Melt butter in a pan and add sugar.
  • 5. Keep stirring sugar on low flame.
  • 6. When sugar melt completely and turns brown, add milk and mix well.
  • 7. Now add soaked nuts and fruits in sugar milk mixture.
  • 8. Add egg and whisk with wired whisker and then add this mixture in flour and mix.
  • 9. Whisk gently to make a lump free batter.
  • 10. Transfer this batter into a greased round cake tin.
  • 11. Bake in OTG for 35 minutes on 190℃ or till it baked properly.
  • 12. Enjoy non alcoholic Christmas fruit cake.
