Winter is all around the corner and during winter we people love to eat Halwa and here I'm presenting of the delicious and nutritious Chukandar/Beetroot Halwa.

Take a kadhai or a pan heat 3 tbsp of ghee and add 500 gm or 3 cups of beetroot.

Cook grated Chukandar/Beetroot for about 3-4 minutes until raw smell goes and Chukandar/Beetroot change its colour little bit.

Now add 350 ml or 3 cups of whole milk and cook for another 10-15 minutes stir continuously and simmer on low heat and cook until Chukandar/Beetroot turns soft and milk has reduced to 80%.

Now add 6 tbsp of sugar mix well and cook until sugar, dissolves completely and ghee separates from the pan.

Add 125 gm Mawa, 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and chopped nuts. Mix them well and cook for another 1 minutes.
7.
Yours delicious Chukandar/Beetroot Halwa is ready to serve. Serve hot, warm or cold.
