Ingredients For Coconut Gatta Biryani Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl add all ingredients mentioned in gatta.
  • 2. Add water and knead it into a tight dough.
  • 3. Roll it into a cylindrical shape.
  • 4. Now cut 3 inches long pieces from the roll .
  • 5. Heat water in a pan and add gatta boil it for 10 minutes on high flame.
  • 6. When gatta floats on water it means cooked perfectly.
  • 7. Now strain the water from cooked gatta.
  • 8. Cut boiled gatta into small pieces.
  • 9. Ingredients for coconut biryani - In a wok add ghee heat it on medium flame add mustard seeds.
  • 10. When mustard seeds starts crackle then add bay leaf, curry leaves, clove.
  • 11. Now add dry red chillies, cardamom and black pepper.
  • 12. Now add boiled gatta and saute it for 1 minute.
  • 13. Now add grated one cup fresh coconut mix it very well.
  • 14. Now add salt and mix well, add milk.
  • 15. Now add boiled rice and mix slightly.
  • 16. In last add chopped green coriander leaves.
  • 17. Cover with lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 18. Our coconut gatta biryani is now ready to serve with any type of dip Which ever you like.
