Methods
  • 1. Boil water in sauce pan.
  • 2. Once boiled.Off the flame.
  • 3. add 1/2 tsp ghee and ragi flour mixing it the some spatula..
  • 4. Mix it properly so that water absorbs all the flour.
  • 5. now cover it with lid and keep it aside for 10 min
  • 6. transfer the dough to a big plate and smash the dough properly making a sooth dough.
  • 7. greese the chakli snacks maker stand with oil properly. Greese the perforated plate which comes in it.
  • 8. take a perforated big plate for steaming iddiyappams ..and greese it with oil
  • 9. now transfer the dough in the chakli maker stand .press it tightly and swirl it as we make sev directly on big perforated greesed plate
  • 10. place the plate in steamer and steam for 10 min
  • 11. hot iddiyappam are readyServer it with chutney or sambhar or coconut milk and jaggery if required.
