Wash jowar thoroughly and soak it for 10 hours or overnight.

Take out the jowar in a sieve so that all its water drains out, then dry roast it. and cool it.

Now put it in a mixer jar and grind it coarsely. Wash and cut potatoes, green chilies, tomatoes too. Lightly roast the peanuts

Now heat oil in a cooker, now add mustard seeds and add coarsely ground jowar and fry it.

After the jowar is roasted, add 2 glasses of water to it and then add chopped curry leaves, salt as per taste, chili powder and turmeric powder and cover and cook for 8-10 whistles.

Jowar porridge is ready, serve it hot with curd or buttermilk and enjoy.
