Ingredients For Kanji vada recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and Soaked mustard seed and urad dal separately in sufficient water for 2hours.
  • 2. After 2 hours, remove water from urad dal and mustard seed and grind them separately and make fine paste. Keep it in a separate bowl.
  • 3. In a jar add 1 litre water, hing, salt, red chilly powder and mustard paste and jaggery. Mix them we'll.
  • 4. Heat oil in a pan. Wet your hands and keep 1/2 tsp of dal paste on your palm and shape this into a circle.
  • 5. Drop it in hot oil and deep fry on medium heat till it turns golden brown. Make all vadas like this.
  • 6. Place the vadas in prepared mustard (kanji) water and allow them to rest for 2-3 days in warm place.
  • 7. After 3 days serve yummy kanji vada.
